England’s Ashes Victory – Player Ratings
It has been a few days now since Englands victory at the Oval against
Australia to regain the Ashes. Andrew Strauss’ men won the
deciding test by 197 runs and it was a fantastic day all-round for the England cricket team and English cricket.
Many people had written off England’s chances after their performance
at Headingley, but to write England off at The Oval is never that wise
and so it was proved. They were fantastic throughout and performed

Thoughts ahead of the The Oval
It doesn’t feel like it has been five minutes since the first Ashes test of the summer and yet here we are talking about the final one. It should be a cracking match as well with the series tied at 1-1.
England need to win to regain the Ashes, Australia need a win to secure the series, but only a draw to retain the Ashes. With all of this in mind, it seems fair to say that it will be a very tense occasion for everyone involved come Thursday morning. (more…)
