Rain puts third Ashes test on hold
Regardless of what you are doing, persistent rain can be very annoying. When you are planning to watch / listen / go to an Ashes test match, you can increase this annoyance a great deal.

The Ashes will be Flintoff’s final test series
The remaining four Ashes test matches this summer have now taken on extra significance. This is because they will be the last time that England talisman Andrew Flintoff plays the five-day game.
Yesterday, on the eve of the second test match at Lords, Flintoff announced that he would retire from test cricket because of his constant battle with injuries over the last few years. He will now concentrate on playing One Day International and Twenty20 cricket for the remainder of his professional career. (more…)
